Noting Interest
We do not take provisional reservations, however we will note your interest.
In the event that another client wishes to confirm a booking for the same date with an immediate deposit
payment, the first client will be contacted and given the first opportunity to confirm the booking with an
immediate - deposit payment. If the first ctient re unable to confirm the booking with an i mmediate deposit
payment, the date will be released to the other client in exchange for the immediate deposit payment.
Estimates only can be given for weddings booked for more than a year in advance.
A special reduction of 10% is available off the package prices for wedding receptions held on a weekday (excl Friday) or Sunday.
A special reduction of 5% is available off the package prices for wedding receptions held on Fridays.
However please note only daytime weddings are available for Fridays. All festivities have to be over with and guests departed by 6pm
Confirmation of Booking
Bookings should be confirmed by letter enclosing either a cheque (subject to clearance) or valid credit / debit
card i.e. Visa, MasterCard or Maestro, along with details in respect of the deposit for the sum of 10% of the
facility fee. If a confirmed booking is subsequently cancelled, the deposit paid is non-refundable.
Written acknowledgement of the booking will be sent to the client upon receipt of a confirmed booking with
full payment of the deposit and duly signed Terms and Conditions.
Cheques should be made payable to B rannigan's Hotel.
Prices are inclusive of 17.5% VAT.
Cancellations
In the event of a cancellation all payments are non-refundable. If you wish to change the date of your wedding,
the possibility of transferability of a l l payments to the new booking will need to be discussed with the Proprietor !
Terms of Settlement
Approximately six weeks before the Reception, you will be contacted to arrange an appointment for you to
visit us to discuss and f i nalise the package, extras and any other matters relating to your Special Day.
Directly after this meeting, i.e. at least four weeks prior to the wedding, we will then send an invoice for a payment of 50% of the estimated cost for the event.
Final guest numbers attending the wedding must be provided to us no later than 5 working days in advance of the wedding.
Full payment of the estimated outstanding balance will be due 7 days before the event. Any other charges incurred by you or your guests during the event will be charged to your nominated debit / credit card and a full statement of these charges will be sent on to you by post.
General
Please note we do not have the facility to offer a corkage policy, therefore guests are not permitted to
provide their own catering or supply their own beverages under any circumstances.
Management and staff have the right to withdraw the bar facility, if necessary.
In the unlikely event of the cancellation of your wedding, it is recommended that you take out an Insurance
policy to cover all expenses as all payments to Brannigan's Hotel are non-refundable.
Once the wedding package has been selected, this cannot be altered to a reduced priced package.
Brannigan's Hotel and employees are not responsible for lost, stolen, broken or forgotten articles. Please have someone in your party responsible for collecting any personal property.
The Hotel will assist clients where reasonably possible with any storage or equipment etc however the Company does not accept liability for loss or damage to any item of equipment.
We regret that pets are not allowed.
Because of the difficulty we have in removing confetti in time for other weddings we regret that we cannot allow it to be used. To avoid embarrassment could you please inform your guests of this policy.
It is our aim to make provision for all guests in an inclusive and non-discriminatory way. To assist us in this endeavour, we would be grateful if you could make us aware, in advance, of any particular needs or requirements you might have.
Capacity
The function room can accommodate up to 110 guests for the seated reception and 150 for the eveningreception.
Accommodation
For those who wish to stay the night, in addition to the Honeymoon Suite, Brannigan's has another three on-
suite bedrooms and three bedrooms with shared bathroom facilities.
Check-in time for guests staying overnight is 2pm on the day of the Wedding.
The morning after the wedding, guests must vacate their bedrooms by 12 noon.
Breakfast is included in the room rate and is served between 7am and 10am.
Meals
Brannigan's Hotel offers an extensive bar menu served at lunch time and early evening.
On Friday and Saturday nights the Dining Room is available for more formal meals at £13.95 for 3 courses;
reservations are essential.
